²² But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause^[a] will be subject to judgment, and whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca,’^[b] will have to answer to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of hell^[c] fire.

²³ “So if you are about to offer your gift at the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you, ²⁴ leave your gift there in front of the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother. Then come and offer your gift.
